Automation, robotics and digitalization from a single source
SPIE Automation GmbH, headquartered in Pfullendorf, develops and implements custom solutions in the fields of automation, robotics, digitalization, manufacturing, assembly & relocation, process engineering, and maintenance & servicing. Founded in 1996, the company employs around 350 staff at nine locations in Germany. The portfolio includes collaborative robots and autonomous mobile robots, the modular E.FLEX automation system, the E.RAMP fleet management software, control cabinet construction and test benches, as well as equipment setting and production relocations including heavy-load transport up to 50 tonnes. Automated assembly processes plastic and metal components; process engineering covers piping design, process design and decarbonization. Customers include companies from the pharmaceutical, food, semiconductor, automotive, medical technology and wood industries. Since 2024, SPIE Automation has been part of the multi-technical service provider SPIE; in 2025, five companies merged to form SPIE Automation GmbH.
