About SPIE FHS
SPIE FURNACE HOT SPECIALISTS (SPIE FHS) is a specialised service provider for industrial furnaces and refractory systems. The company offers controlled heat-up and cooling processes, refractory dry-outs for blast furnaces, coke ovens and cement plants, hot drilling and draining of glass melting tanks, expansion control and refractory steam-pressure monitoring. Optionally, an automated heat-up with remote heating is available. In addition, image-based inspection systems and HD video inspections are used, providing detailed insights into the furnace condition and operating performance. Customers come from the glass, steel, aluminium and cement industries. SPIE FHS was formed in 2024/2025 from the merger of the two long-established specialist companies SPIE EXCELSIUS and SPIE FIOS under a single brand and can look back on more than 20 years of experience in the heat-up field. The head office is located in Lohr am Main, with a branch office in Freital.
