About SPOHR-Messtechnik
SPOHR-Messtechnik GmbH was founded in 1884 in Frankfurt am Main as the company H.Ch.Spohr. For over 130 years, its core competence has been the manufacture of measuring and recording instruments for monitoring groundwater and surface water. The portfolio includes cable plumb lines and sounding instruments, water level and temperature gauges, oil film thickness gauges, water sampling devices, staff gauges as well as drive-point piezometers and multilevel systems. Production has been organized as craft-based manufacturing for decades; in addition, the company offers maintenance, repair, spare parts supply and rental of measuring instruments. As a distribution partner, SPOHR sells the Solinst product range, including drive-point piezometers, peristaltic pumps and field tables. The instruments are used worldwide in water management, hydrogeology, environmental and groundwater monitoring, as well as in contaminated site and location investigations.
