The company was founded in 1982 and operates with a sales team in 12 countries; shipping is carried out to all European countries. In addition to sales, purchasing and central warehousing with over 5,000 m² of storage space, Sport Import offers technical customer service with its own service center: as an official RockShox service center since 1993, around 1,000 servicing jobs and repairs are performed annually on RockShox suspension forks, shocks and seatposts, AVID/SRAM disc brakes and ZIPP/WTB wheelsets. Own brands are VOXOM (bicycle accessories, over 400 articles), SI BMX and Ambit Components (performance components). An R&D center in Oberammergau is used for the development and testing of bicycle components; digital tools such as the B2B shop and pre-order portal are developed in-house.
