About Sprachfabrik

Sprachfabrik is an association of freelance conference interpreters from the Rhine-Ruhr region in North Rhine-Westphalia. It is not a partnership under civil law (GbR) or any other legal form; each interpreter acts in her own name and on her own account, and a contract is formed with an individual interpreter, who is liable exclusively for the services she herself provides. The services offered include simultaneous and consecutive interpreting as well as whispered, negotiation and liaison interpreting in the languages German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Finnish. In addition, the team advises on the appropriate mode of interpreting for an event, organises the corresponding conference technology where required and, on request, produces translations of conference documents. Beyond the language combinations mentioned, teams of interpreters for further languages are assembled through a regional network of experienced colleagues. On request, Sprachfabrik prepares individual quotations tailored to the needs of its customers.
