Standard connection technology from SPS
Since 2003, SPS Standard Produkte Schwanenmühle GmbH has manufactured and distributed certified standard connection technology for the electrical engineering industry, in particular flexible busbars, solid copper and CoppAl® bars as well as accessories and tools. The product portfolio comprises the laminated copper bars Isoflexx®, the flexible power strips Ultraflexx®, grounding braids (Earth Braids) with press-welded terminals, insulators, busbar supports, plastic holders, conductor terminal clamps, drilling jigs as well as a manual bending tool (BV-100) and a twisting tool. In-house assembly processes include cutting to length, bending, twisting, introducing hole patterns and press-welding or stitching of terminals, complemented by customization and customer-specific packaging. Materials used are copper, aluminium, copper-clad aluminium CoppAl® and plastic. The products are used in high-current technology in switchgear construction, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and rail vehicles, and are available from stock. SPS is part of the EMS Group and supplies small and medium-sized enterprises as well as internationally active corporations from its location in Horbach, Rhineland-Palatinate.
