About SR-Scholz Rohstoffe

SR-Scholz Rohstoffe GmbH & Co. KG is a family-run, internationally active trading and production company for metallic raw materials headquartered in Duisburg. The company supplies the iron, steel and foundry industries with REACH-compliant ferroalloys, non-ferrous metals, pig iron as well as foundry and steelworks scrap from worldwide resources. At the Geldern site on the Lower Rhine, alloy compacts and cupola furnace briquettes are produced at the KEIBETON and PWG briquetting plants on a production area of more than 50,000 m² – with an annual capacity of up to 40,000 tonnes. Briquettes with defined chemical and physical properties are manufactured to individual recipes on modern roller press systems and automated production facilities. The portfolio is complemented by melting treatment and alloying additives such as inoculants, preconditioners and master alloys (FESIL Deutschland GmbH) as well as waste management services in accordance with the KrWG. The strategic location at Europe's largest inland port ensures short logistics routes and stable supply chains for customers in Europe, South America, India and Asia.
