About Karasek

Karasek has been manufacturing garden and contract furniture at its own plant in Vienna since 1932. The range includes lounge furniture, chairs and tables made of aluminium and wrought iron or steel tubing, loungers and reclining loungers, furniture in teak and robinia wood, stainless steel as well as woven furniture made of plastic fibres (Tropi-Cane, polyrattan). The metal parts are welded by hand using the GMAW process, galvanized for refinement and powder-coated in the company's own facility; covers and cushions are produced in an in-house sewing shop from outdoor fabrics such as Sunbrella acrylic fabric. All furniture is developed to the company's own designs, individually inspected and custom-made to customer specification. Customers include thermal spas, baths, hotels, gastronomy, senior facilities and private customers throughout Europe – reference projects range from the Therme Vienna to the shipping company Color Line in Norway.
