About STABILO
STABILO is a family-owned manufacturer of writing instruments, established in 1855, headquartered in Heroldsberg near Nuremberg and part of the Schwan-STABILO Group (Schwanhäußer Industrie Holding GmbH & Co. KG). The product range includes text markers such as the STABILO BOSS ORIGINAL, fineliners, felt-tip pens, ballpoint pens, fountain pens, pencils, coloured pencils and learn-to-write systems. Ink-based writing instruments are predominantly manufactured at the company's own production site in Weißenburg, while self-produced wood-cased pencils are made mainly in Český Krumlov (Czech Republic); individual products such as STABILO tropikana Pacific are produced at the plant in Malaysia. Manufacturing processes plastics (increasingly bio-based and recycled plastics) as well as FSC- and PEFC-certified wood, graphite and pigments. All production sites and the headquarters purchase fully green electricity. The products are available in over 180 countries; the company employs around 1,500 staff.
