Stache Maschinen- und Werkzeugbau GmbH manufactures machines and components in Giesen near Hildesheim for small and medium-sized industrial companies. The range of services includes CNC machining with turning, milling (3-, 4- and 5-axis), wire EDM, band sawing and surface grinding, as well as design and drawing creation, prototype construction and small-batch production. Products manufactured include workpiece carriers and inspection fixtures for automatic production systems, complex turn-mill parts for wind power applications, milled parts made of various materials, and turned parts with further machining. Surface treatments such as hardening, browning, painting, anodizing, chromating and electroplating are carried out through a partner network. In addition, the machine fitters offer on-site assembly and repair of machines and production systems. The manufactured parts are checked for dimensional accuracy in the company's own climate-controlled measuring room with a 3D coordinate measuring machine. The company, founded in 1979, operates in its own production hall of more than 600 m².

Quality Management
In a climate-controlled measuring room, the products are inspected for dimensional accuracy. The inspection is carried out with a Mitutoyo 3D coordinate measuring machine (measuring range 700 x 600 x 450 mm), digital micrometers, calipers, as well as limit and thread plug gauges; all measuring instruments are subject to inspection and measuring equipment monitoring.
