About Stadler Keppler Maschinenbau

Stadler Keppler Maschinenbau GmbH, headquartered in Pfullingen (Baden-Württemberg), develops, designs and manufactures machine tools, special-purpose machines, handling systems and clamping fixtures. The company was founded in 1965 as Karl Keppler Maschinenbau and has been part of Stadler Formenbau GmbH since 2018. In addition to building special-purpose machines such as special turning, line boring, special drilling and special milling machines as well as transfer lines, the company manufactures its own machine series: 6-axis universal machining centers (HDC series) as bed-type milling machines, 6-axis travelling column machines (FS/FSH) with table loads of up to 40 tonnes, and vertical machining centers (VDC). Complementary components such as tool chain and tool rack magazines are also produced. The value chain includes design, software development, machining, assembly as well as conversions and retrofitting of existing systems. Materials include, among others, tempered and structural steels (40CrMnMo7, St37) and aluminium (EN AW-AlMg4,5Mn0,7). Customers come from the automotive, mechanical engineering, renewable energy, aerospace, tool and mould making, and paper machine/printing industries.
