About Stadler Keppler Maschinenbau
Stadler Keppler Maschinenbau GmbH, based in Pfullingen near Reutlingen, has been developing, designing and manufacturing machine tools and special-purpose machines for industrial machining since 1965. The product portfolio includes the 6-axis bed-type milling machines of the HDC series, vertical machining centres of the VDC series, 6-axis travelling-column machines (FS/FSH) with table loads of up to 40 tonnes, as well as task-specific special-purpose machines such as roller-burnishing, line-boring, special turning, special drilling and special milling machines. In addition, the company offers its own tool chain and rack magazines, custom clamping fixtures, conversions and retrofitting, as well as design, software development, manufacturing and assembly from a single source. Customers come from the automotive industry, general mechanical engineering, aerospace, renewable energies, tool and die making, and the paper and printing industries. Manufacturing comprises CNC milling, turning and drilling of materials such as quenched and tempered steel 40CrMnMo7, aluminium (AlMg4,5Mn0,7) and structural steel St37 with surface finishes down to Ra 1.6. In 2018 the company was acquired by Stadler Formenbau GmbH and has since traded as Stadler Keppler Maschinenbau GmbH.
