About SÜW Lübben
Stadt- und Überlandwerke GmbH Lübben (SÜW) is the municipal utility of the town of Lübben in the Spreewald region and has been supplying the region with electricity, natural gas, district heating and drinking water since 1990. In addition to grid-based supply, the company offers contracting, operation of e-charging stations with vehicle electricity tariffs, a 24-hour emergency service as well as the operational management of municipal wastewater disposal. With the civil engineering division founded in 2019 and the takeover of the civil and pipeline engineering of municipal wastewater disposal (2020), SÜW expanded its technical value creation. Innovative projects include hydrogen topics such as participation in the INTERREG project H2CE and a hydrogen-capable condensing boiler in the Spielbergstraße boiler house. Since 2026, the subsidiary SÜW Service GmbH has combined the service point and tourist information in the town hall. The company operates as a regional partner of public services of general interest, based at Bahnhofstraße 30 in Lübben.
