About Stahlberg Roensch
Stahlberg Roensch GmbH is a service provider specialised in railway rails, headquartered in Hamburg and part of the Vossloh Group. The company provides welding services of all kinds, in particular stationary and mobile flash butt welding of rails, as well as stationary and mobile milling of rails and turnouts. Further areas of activity are rail replacement including welding and superstructure work on the construction site, long-rail logistics with its own STS transport system for rails up to 180 metres long, turnout logistics as well as loading and unloading systems. The material used is rail steel; processing is carried out with millimetre precision according to customer specifications. Customers include Deutsche Bahn/DB InfraGo, Swietelsky, Spitzke and Leonhardt Weiss. Reference projects are the renewal of the high-speed line Berlin–Hamburg (2021, approx. 400,000 m of pre-fabricated long rails) and the complete overhaul of the Riedbahn Frankfurt–Mannheim (2024). The company employs around 11 staff and operates via welding plants in Hamburg and Nuremberg as well as deployments across Europe.
