Stahlhandel Gröditz GmbH was founded in 1993 and specializes in sawn, made-to-measure blanks of quality and stainless steels supplied directly from stock. The stock program comprises more than 90 material grades and over 4,000 t of stock material in flat steel, round bar and plates, including stainless steels, heat-treatable steels, tool steels, creep-resistant and heat-resistant steels, fine-grained structural steels and nickel-based alloys, some in ESR quality. As an authorized sawing center certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015, the company offers contract sawing, contract milling with double-head milling machines, CNC flame cutting of fine-grained structural steel, as well as turning and drilling via partners. Workpieces up to 25 t in individual weight and dimensions up to 1000 x 1000 x 4000 mm can be machined. Through subsidiaries in Spain and Poland as well as representatives in Scandinavia, Turkey and the United Kingdom, the GmbH supplies customers in more than 82 countries worldwide. Customer industries include mechanical and plant engineering, power plant and energy technology, medical technology, chemicals, offshore and shipbuilding as well as oil and gas.
