About us
Stahlrohrhandel Mettner GmbH, based in Glandorf, is a wholesaler specializing in steel pipes with its own sawing service and extensive further processing capabilities. The product range includes seamless thick-walled pipes, longitudinal-seam and spiral-welded steel pipes, precision pipes, hollow sections, structural hollow sections as well as custom one-off production to customer specification. Pipes with diameters of 219.1 to 610 mm are available from stock in commercial lengths of up to 18 m; additional dimensions are available with circumferential welds. In addition, cut-to-length and mitre cuts are performed to the millimetre on computer-controlled band saws and oxy-fuel cutting systems, and corrosion protection is offered from abrasive blasting through painting, galvanizing and PE coating to cement mortar lining. The pipes are used, among other things, in civil engineering and pipeline construction, steel and hall construction, machinery and plant engineering, tank and shipbuilding as well as for noise barriers. Through its cooperation partner Impostal, the company maintains a plant in Poland for pipes for noise barriers.
