About STAHLWILLE
STAHLWILLE Eduard Wille GmbH is a manufacturer of hand tools founded in 1862 and based in the Cronenberg district of Wuppertal. The product range comprises around 10,000 items: wrenches, socket wrenches, ratchets, extensions, torque wrenches, pliers as well as special tools for aerospace, wind power and the automotive industry. Production begins with the drop forging of tool steel – at the Steinbach-Hallenberg SWM tool factory with a daily capacity of up to 25,000 blanks – and includes CNC machining as well as electroplating (galvanizing and nickel plating of ferrous materials) by STAHLWILLE Industrietechnik GmbH in Iserlohn. According to the company, production takes place in Wuppertal and Steinbach-Hallenberg under strict quality controls. A DAkkS-accredited calibration laboratory in Wuppertal calibrates torque tools according to DIN EN ISO 6789 and DIN 51309. Around 55% of the products are exported to more than 90 countries; the group includes the brands VBW, ALARM and Jetco as well as subsidiaries in Europe, the USA and China.
