Two companies under one roof

Stanzwerk Oberscheden GmbH and Stanzerei und Werkzeugbau Hild GmbH & Co. KG operate under one roof at the Scheden site south of Göttingen. The range of services extends from laser cutting to stamped and bent parts through to welded constructions and powder coating. The core of the in-house manufacturing depth is the in-house toolmaking department for stamping and forming tools, with which complex components are mass-produced in large quantities as series production. Stamping is performed with presses up to 450 t of pressing force, high-speed presses up to 160 t and deep-drawing presses up to 250 t. In addition, prototypes, individual parts and small series are produced on CNC machining centres (3- and 5-axis), wire EDM and surface grinding machines; hard milling up to 64 HRC is possible. Materials processed include steels (material groups 1.1 and 1.2), aluminium such as EN AW-6060 and EN AW-7020 as well as plastics. Customers come from mechanical engineering, commercial vehicle manufacturing, medical technology, meteorological technology and defence technology; the company is listed as an A-supplier with its customers. The company history spans more than 120 years, and the ISO-9001 certification has been in place since 2002.
