About StarWood Stair Shop
StarWood Stair Shop is a family-run staircase manufacturer in its third generation with its own production facility in Bechhofen (Middle Franconia). Originating from a small joinery, the company today manufactures solid wood staircases (housed-stringer and cut-stringer types, straight and winder), space-saving staircases, steel-stringer staircases with wooden steps (8 mm steel stringer, 40 mm steps), centre-post, spiral and loft staircases as well as stair railings in metal, designer stainless steel and wood. In addition, the company produces stair treads, solid wood panels to measure (table and worktops, window sills, cladding) and wood briquettes made from sawdust as residual material utilisation. Production is carried out in accordance with DIN 18065 using FSC (C106855) and PEFC-certified woods (spruce, beech, oak); steel parts are powder-coated or hot-dip galvanised. Using digital staircase configurators with an instant fixed price, measurement sheets for custom-made products, assembly videos and a partner network for assembly service providers, StarWood supplies private and commercial customers throughout Germany, including joineries, architects and property developers with series deliveries for residential complexes.

Quality and Certification
Production is carried out in accordance with DIN 18065; loft staircases are tested according to UNI EN 14975:2010 and partly CE-certified. Wood materials come exclusively from FSC (C106855) and PEFC-certified (TSUD-PEFC-COC-000113-122) value chains.
