About STASA
STASA Steinbeis Angewandte Systemanalyse GmbH was founded in 1995 by Prof. Dr. Günter Haag as a Steinbeis Transfer Centre and was converted into a GmbH (limited liability company) in 2005. The company, headquartered in Stuttgart, specializes in applied systems analysis and develops tailor-made data analysis and software solutions, including the STASA QC software for setting up and optimizing manufacturing processes as well as for online quality forecasting of manufactured components. Fields of application include plastic injection molding, welding and bonding processes, aluminum die casting, and machining processes. Further focal points are predictive maintenance, early fault detection, time-series and frequency analysis, statistical lifetime analysis, and pattern recognition using artificial intelligence methods such as neural networks, support vector machines, and decision trees. In addition to manufacturing optimization, STASA offers network analyses, data visualization, forecasting in the transport sector, small-scale population and economic forecasts, site analyses, as well as consulting and training for process optimization. More than 1,000 projects have been carried out since the company was founded; customers include companies such as Institut Dr. Foerster, IW-Consult and KISTLER AG as well as ministries and institutional organizations.
