About Stattmann Furniture
Stattmann Furniture is a furniture manufacturer founded in 2012 by siblings Nicola and Oliver Stattmann, based in Frankfurt am Main. The company develops and manufactures solid wood furniture – tables, chairs, benches, stools, shelving and beds – in collaboration with international product designers such as Marina Bautier, Sylvain Willenz, Steffen Kehrle and Jörg Boner. Only oak and ash wood from certified sustainable European forestry is used; metal components and plastics are largely avoided. Production takes place entirely in Germany and is based on traditional craftsmanship techniques such as inlay work and handcrafted solid wood joints, complemented by innovative wooden plug-in connections. The surfaces are treated with environmentally friendly pigments and coatings. The furniture is suitable for private residential use as well as for contract applications; for projects with architects and interior designers, custom dimensions and individual colors are realized. In 2022, production was relocated to a family-run joinery in southern Germany specializing in high-quality solid wood series furniture.
