Steel Trading & Technology GmbH (STT), based in St. Barbara im Mürztal, specialises in the trading of stainless steels and special alloys and offers the complete supply chain from raw material to finished component. Its service portfolio includes 3D printing using the Laser Cusing powder bed process for prototypes and small series in stainless steel and aluminium oxide, machining on modern CNC turning and milling machines in cooperation with partner companies, as well as open-die and closed-die forgings such as flanges, rings, discs, axles, shafts and connectors made of steels, nickel-based alloys and titanium – from one-off pieces to large series. In addition, heat treatments (solution annealing, soft annealing, hardening and tempering, ageing, stress-relief annealing, in air, in protective gas or vacuum) as well as testing including third-party inspection and logistics are offered. STT supplies the petrochemical, aerospace and defence industries as well as selected niche markets and delivers worldwide. All materials are certified to WL, AMS, DIN or EN.

Quality
STT was the first trading company in Austria to receive approval in accordance with EN 9120 and works with a quality assurance agreement (QSV) to EN 9100/EN 9120 for suppliers. Materials are delivered certified to WL, AMS, DIN or EN; if required, testing to NADCAP standards and third-party inspections are possible.
