About Robotcloud
Robotcloud (Stefan Zeidler Unternehmensberatung GmbH) is a provider of AI-based, modular software solutions for complex motion and handling processes in industrial robotics. The cloud-based modules enable, among other things, autonomous object detection via 3D CAD matching, detection of deposit bins, and autonomous, collision-free path planning of robot arm movements – without manual programming (No-Code Teaching). The fully functional Pick&Pack solution covers part recognition, bin recognition, and deposit planning; the modules Bin Pick&Place, Assembly, and Quality Control (deviation, color, and surface detection) are under development. Licensing is hardware-independent and relies on open interfaces. Customers come from industrial robotics, automation, and industrial production; partnerships exist, among others, with Jugard & Kuenstner, Roboception, J. Schmalz, Sick, Yaskawa, and Zivid. The company is headquartered in Grünwald near Munich.

Modules and Functions
Pick&Pack (Solution)
Modules for part recognition via 3D CAD matching, deposit bin detection, and autonomous, collision-free path planning for depositing into bins.
Bin Pick&Place (in development)
AI-based detection of object pose and possible grip points as well as collision-free path planning for grasping objects in the bin.
Assembly (in development)
Modules for inserting and removing parts in assembly fixtures and machines, as well as for finishing steps such as gluing or screwing.
Quality Control (in development)
Deviation detection of actual vs. target state via 3D comparison with reference data, plus 2D comparison for color deviations and surface defects.
No-Code Teaching
Processes are set up and adjusted without programming knowledge by staff with process expertise.
