About Steigerwaldholz
Steigerwaldholz is a sole proprietorship based in Schlüsselfeld-Bernroth in Franconia that has been working with domestic timber from local forest farmers and forestry offices for three generations. Its in-house production includes impact protection boards made of steamed, finger-jointed beech as well as beech multiplex boards (3 mm rotary-cut veneer, waterproof glued), skirting boards in various profiles, solid wood panels for furniture and staircase construction, structural timber, flooring as well as decking and façade timber. The boards are planed on four sides, given an 8 mm chamfer on the visible side, pre-sanded (P120) and optionally treated with OSMO hard wax oil; standard lengths are 2.20–2.40 m. The products are sold via an online shop, larger quantities are packed on europallets and wrapped in film. Customers also receive advice online, by telephone or on site.
