About Steinbach
Steinbach GmbH, founded in 2014, is a trading and procurement partner for rolling bearings, power transmission technology, sealing technology and rubber elements based in Wernau near Stuttgart. The company stocks more than 32,000 items in its own warehouse – from deep groove ball bearings, roller bearings and plummer block bearing units to plain bearings, gears, sprockets, V-belts and V-belt pulleys through to rotary shaft seals and O-rings – and ships stocked goods the same working day via UPS and DHL. With a partner network of more than 18 manufacturers and trading partners, Steinbach also provides technical consulting, cross-referencing of third-party bearing designations and worldwide procurement of obsolete spare parts. Custom-made products according to drawing or sample – for example in stainless steel or with ceramic rolling elements – are organized with specialized manufacturing partners; the entire process is handled by Steinbach. With its own brand ExLAST®, the company offers FFKM O-rings and special geometries for maximum chemical and thermal stress. Customers include industry, mechanical engineering, OEMs and processing companies from sectors such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, oil and gas as well as food and packaging technology.

Through-hardened standard material of the rolling bearings in the range.
Stainless steel
For damp, hygienically sensitive and corrosive applications, including plummer block bearing units and gears (1.4305).
Ceramic (silicon nitride)
Rolling elements in hybrid and full-ceramic bearings from CeramicSpeed for less friction and higher speeds.
Steel C45
Heat-treatable steel for spur gears in general mechanical engineering.
Grey cast iron
Housing material for V-belt pulleys and plummer block bearing units with good damping.
Plastic PA6 (glass-fibre reinforced)
Self-lubricating, quiet material for gears at low to medium loads.
PTFE composite bearing
Maintenance-free plain bearing bushes with steel-bronze-PTFE construction to DIN 1494.
