Stone sculpture workshop since 1911
The stone sculpture workshop Anno Walk is a Cologne family business founded in 1911 that has carried out stonemasonry and sculptural work since 1911 and is today run in its 4th generation by Petra and Jörg-Peter Walk. Its offerings include the design and production of gravestones, sculptural works and sculptures, lettering additions, reworking and cleaning, as well as trust-secured grave monument provision and maintenance. The works are created predominantly from domestic natural stone in a versatile selection, following personal consultation, sketching and coordination on material and design with the bereaved. In addition to numerous gravestones, the business has also realized works in the Cologne cityscape, including figures on the historic city hall tower, the Fischmarkt fountain in the old town and the Fischreiter fountain in Cologne-Zollstock. As a master, guild and training business, the stone sculpture workshop trains the next generation of craftspeople and has been a member of the Cologne Stonemasons' and Sculptors' Guild since its founding, with board-level involvement. The business is located at the Südfriedhof cemetery in Cologne; work is carried out at all cemeteries.
