About STEINEL
STEINEL Normalien AG is an independent family-owned company headquartered in Villingen-Schwenningen with more than 130 employees. The company manufactures a comprehensive range of standard components for punching and forming technology: die sets, guide elements, active elements, spring elements, nitrogen systems (gas springs, composite systems, tank plates), thread-forming units as well as die sets and function plates. In addition, STEINEL develops and produces custom guides and assemblies for mechanical engineering as well as industry-specific solutions for electronics, medical, metrology and packaging technology. Production includes three- and five-axis machining centers, HSC milling, a fully automated EDM department, grinding technology, waterjet cutting, heat treatment, plasma nitriding, micro peening and PVD coating. In toolmaking, STEINEL realizes complete progressive die and stamping-bending tools including spare parts management — from design through manufacturing to assembly. Materials are steel, aluminum and cast iron.
