Steiner GmbH Chemie u. Labortechnik is an independent, medium-sized company based in Siegen that distributes laboratory supplies, laboratory equipment and chemicals. The portfolio comprises more than 150,000 items from over 200 manufacturers, including around 150 liquid and solid chemicals held permanently in stock in technical, pure and analytical-grade quality. The distribution offering includes industrial chemicals such as acids, alkalis, solvents and solids, as well as chemicals for surface treatment (cleaning, degreasing, pickling), wastewater treatment chemicals and adsorbents (drying beads). In addition, Steiner Chemie plans and equips complete laboratories on a turnkey basis, carries out maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment and fume hoods, calibration, bath analyses in electroplating, regeneration of water treatment cartridges, and disposal of industrial waste and laboratory chemicals. Deliveries are made with the company's own vehicle fleet, around 30 t of chemicals per day within a 100 km radius; tanker truck loads are handled by logistics partners. Customers come from the metalworking industry, the food and chemical industries, power stations, wastewater treatment plants, as well as schools and universities.
