History
- 1928
Gottfried Steiner purchases the property at Bernstrasse 2 in Oberwichtrach with a retail shop, workshop and apartment.
- 1952
Conversion: the stable becomes retail space, the workshop is enlarged.
- 1955
Manufacture of roof gutter guards for the Bernische Kraftwerke.
- 1964
Death of Gottfried Steiner; the workshop is rented out for 15 years, Anna Steiner continues to run the retail shop.
- 1980
Fritz Steiner (2nd generation) passes the master craftsman examination as a certified sanitary installer and takes over the workshop.
- 1982
Construction of the extension that is today's workshop.

Fritz and Susanne Steiner take over the retail shop from Anna Steiner.
