About the STELLA GRUPPE
The STELLA GRUPPE with its parent company STELLA KERAMIK GmbH develops and manufactures precision grinding wheels for surface grinding, cylindrical grinding, tool grinding, gear flank grinding, thread and worm grinding, honing and superfinishing, heavy-duty grinding, rail grinding, cut-off and rough grinding as well as dressing with diamond and CBN. Founded in 1925 in Marktredwitz, the company produces conventional grinding wheel specialties in vitrified and resinoid bonds with extensive experience in sintered corundum abrasives; in addition, custom grinding wheels are developed in collaboration with customers. All products are manufactured exclusively in Germany, at three locations with around 100 employees. Key applications include gear machining, honing and superfinishing as well as track construction; since 2025 the high-performance abrasive manufacturing of WEFRA Werke has also been part of the group. The export share is around 40 % with representatives in, among others, Finland, Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic, Turkey and India.

Resinoid bond
Bond for grinding wheels for example for cut-off and rough grinding as well as heavy-duty grinding.
Sintered corundum
Abrasive material with many years of experience in the company, especially for demanding grinding applications.
Silicon carbide (SiC)
Used among other things in finest SiC grinding wheels for special applications.
