Stepan GmbH was founded in 1968 by Walter and Elisabeth Stepan and is a system provider for machines, systems and materials for the electronics and printing industries. The company, headquartered in Vienna, operates in five business divisions: In the PCB division, Stepan supplies customers with high-tech systems and materials covering the entire range of flexible and rigid PCBs and IC substrates. In the electronics division, the company plans and implements complete SMT and THT production lines, including vapor phase, wave and selective soldering systems as well as assembly and test systems, as turnkey solutions. The printing technology division specializes in niche applications in label and packaging printing. Since 2017, Stepan has offered integrated transport and process solutions for Intralogistics 4.0 together with montratec, including the modular monorail system montrac®. Across all divisions, precision wire mesh, filter parts, dust-binding cloths, temperature switches and systems for additive manufacturing are also offered. Stepan maintains subsidiaries in Germany and Serbia as well as dedicated staff for Romania, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia and the Czech Republic.
