STERNKOPF Seil- & Hebetechnik GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1934 by master ropemaker Willy Sternkopf and is a third-generation family business headquartered in Crinitzberg OT Bärenwalde (Saxony). The company serves industry, construction, stage technology, forestry, wind power and the food industry with lifting gear, hoists, accessories, load securing devices and custom-made products. The portfolio includes chain slings, wire ropes, stainless steel and pump chains, lifting slings, load handling equipment, electric chain hoists, crane systems, hydraulics, industrial trucks, lift tables and fall protection. In addition to manufacturing and distribution, STERNKOPF, as an authorized specialist company, offers UVV inspections and repairs of mechanically, electrically and hydraulically operated hoists from leading manufacturers in accordance with the principles of the Industrial Safety Ordinance (Betriebssicherheitsverordnung, BSV). The offering is complemented by maintenance, safety inspections, a hoist rental service as well as the brokerage of crane services and heavy-duty assembly work. Quality & Testing
As an authorized specialist company, STERNKOPF performs UVV inspections and repairs of hoists and crane systems in accordance with the principles of the Industrial Safety Ordinance (BSV) as well as DGUV 56, DGUV 54 and BGR 500. Safety inspections are documented in an inspection report and supplemented by inspection tags on the work equipment.
