steute Technologies GmbH & Co. KG is a technology company founded in 1961 in Bad Oeynhausen and today based in Löhne (East Westphalia-Lippe) with more than 450 employees. The company develops and produces switchgear devices, sensors, controls as well as foot and hand operating elements, including user-defined interfaces for the operating room, explosion-proof switches for extreme environmental conditions and robust switchgear devices for the safeguarding of conveyor belts (ZS 92 series with housings made of die-cast aluminium or thermoset). The portfolio is complemented by self-powered wireless switchgear devices (sWave), the sensor network sWave.NET® and the digital shopfloor solution nexy. Manufacturing is characterised by a high proportion of in-house prefabrication; products are systematically tested in the laboratory and partly in field tests. With around 10 own companies and sales partners in over 40 countries, steute supplies industries such as medical technology, special machinery and plant engineering, intralogistics, conveyor technology, the automotive industry, chemicals, oil and gas as well as the food and pharmaceutical industries.
