About Stintmann
Since 1975, Stintmann has been manufacturing plastic parts to drawing, sketch or sample in Düsseldorf. The product range includes ready-to-install finished parts such as gears, sprockets, plain bearings, bushings, slide strips, cable pulleys and sight glasses, as well as seals and stamped parts, which are punched, cut, waterjet-cut or laser-cut. The manufacturing processes are CNC milling, CNC turning, sawing/cutting to size, bending and drilling; in addition, the company supplies semi-finished products (sheets, rods, tubes, profiles) made from over 30 engineering and high-performance plastics, including POM, PP, PA, PTFE, PE 1000, PC, PMMA and PEEK. Typical orders range from 1 to 500 pieces; production runs are manufactured up to 5,000 pieces. Customers come primarily from mechanical engineering, apparatus engineering, automotive engineering, the beverage and metal industries as well as mining; industrial customers include 3M and IMS Martinrea Honsel. Inquiries are answered with a quotation within 48 hours.

Materials and Processes
POM (Polyacetal)
Rigid and dimensionally stable with good sliding properties, typically used for gears, sliding elements and precision parts.
PP (Polypropylene)
Lightweight and chemical-resistant, used for covers, container parts and applications involving chemical contact.
PA (Polyamide, incl. PA 6, PA 6.6, PA 6 G)
Tough and abrasion-resistant, for rollers, guides, plain bearings and wear parts.
PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)
Almost universally chemical-resistant with a low coefficient of friction and service temperatures of approximately −200 to +260 °C, ideal for seals, insulating parts and sliding elements.
PE 1000 (Polyethylene 1000)
Highly wear-resistant, frequently used for slide strips.
PC (Polycarbonate) and PMMA (Acrylic glass)
Transparent materials for sight glasses.
PEEK (Polyetheretherketone)
High-performance plastic for high temperatures, loads and chemical contact.
