STM Stahl Vertriebs GmbH is a privately owned steel trading and processing company founded in 1977 and headquartered in Gräfelfing near Munich. Its range of services covers the sales of tool, powder-metallurgical and high-performance steels as well as their further processing through sawing, milling and longitudinal grinding. On 10,000 m² of warehouse and production space, the company keeps over 80 steel grades with around 3,000 tonnes of material permanently in stock and delivers prefabricated semi-finished products to customer specifications. The offering includes cross-rolled and forged material as well as annealed, tempered and specially heat-treated material; longitudinal grinding as a finishing step and labeling of individual parts are possible. With 50 high-performance automatic saws, 22 milling centers and 4 longitudinal grinding machines, milled parts are delivered within 24 hours on request. Customers come from toolmaking, mold making, plastic injection molding, punching and forming technology, die casting and mechanical engineering; weekly user workshops, also on-site at the customer's premises, complement the offering.
