About Stockkontor
Stockkontor is a family-run company from Bad Sooden-Allendorf, operating since 1982, that manufactures and sells exclusive walking sticks, hiking sticks, umbrellas and mobility aids. The range includes handcrafted wooden sticks made from domestic beech as well as precious woods such as oak, cherry, acacia, hickory, sweet chestnut, rosewood, walnut and hazel, complemented by sticks made of aluminium, carbon and stainless steel. Manufacturing includes milling of wooden shafts, forging of steel tips, gravity die casting and die casting for handles, as well as surface treatments such as staining, flaming, painting, oiling, sealing, high-gloss polishing, chrome plating, nickel plating and gilding. Medical devices under Directive 93/42/EEC, such as height-adjustable walking aids with a load capacity of up to 225 kg, complete the programme. Products are sold via the company's own online shop and amazon.de; an adjustment service for adapting stick lengths is part of the service offering.
