Electromechanical components since 1901
STOCKO CONTACT is a manufacturer of electromechanical components based in Wuppertal, founded in 1901 as a button factory and active in terminal and connection technology since the late 1920s. The company produces connector systems with IDC, crimp and solder termination, crimp contacts (loose and in reel form), precision stamped, drawn and bent parts on strip and as loose pieces, as well as custom special developments. The value chain extends from development and design through in-house toolmaking (stamping and injection molding tools), stamping technology with progressive dies, plastic injection molding with plastics featuring special flame-retardant properties, electroplating, to assembly technology including wire harness manufacturing; stereolithography prototypes and processing machines (hand tools, semi- and fully automatic machines) are also offered. The plants are located in Wuppertal (administration, sales, development), Hellenthal (injection molding, stamping technology, electroplating), Andlau in France (stamping technology) and Kunshan in China; sales are represented in Shanghai. With 750 employees worldwide, STOCKO supplies the home appliance industry, heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology, the automotive supply industry as well as control and switchgear cabinet engineering.
