System manufacturer of drive technology since 1934
STÖBER Antriebstechnik GmbH + Co. KG is a family business founded in Pforzheim in 1934 and a system manufacturer of drive technology. The portfolio comprises planetary gearboxes, planetary bevel gearboxes, rack-and-pinion gearboxes, bevel, spur and helical gearboxes as well as industrial gearboxes, super-compact synchronous servo motors, encoderless lean motors, hollow-shaft motors and matching drive controllers, frequency inverters and servo drives. The drive systems are modular in design, freely scalable and combined as gear motors with direct mounting. In addition to development and manufacturing, STÖBER offers system dimensioning (SERVOsoft®, configurator), technology consulting, commissioning, training, spare parts and repair service, retrofitting and a 24-hour service hotline. The drive systems meet the cyber-security requirements of IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 with regard to the Cyber Resilience Act. Customers come from automation & robotics, plastics machinery, packaging machinery and machine tool manufacturing. The company is represented with 14 locations and 80 service partners in over 40 countries; headquarters and production are located in Pforzheim.
