Stolberger Maschinenfabrik GmbH, based in Monschau, is a specialist in machines and systems for the manufacture of cables and steel ropes. The product portfolio includes stranding machines (tubular, planetary, bar and bow stranding machines, rigid stranders, drum twisters), armouring lines for steel and Kevlar reinforcement, bunching machines, taping equipment, disc and belt capstans up to 1400 kN pulling force, pay-off and take-up systems as well as extruders for insulation and sheath extrusion with screw diameters of 30 to 200 mm.
