About Stolfig GmbH

Stolfig GmbH was founded in 1999 by Peter Stolfig in Pausa (Vogtland) as a prototype site for lightweight solutions and has developed over more than 20 years into a series-production supplier for OEMs and customers in various industries worldwide. The company, with around 30 employees, manufactures formed, stamped-bent and folded parts in steel, aluminium and magnesium on presses of 50 to 500 tonnes as well as welded assemblies in steel, stainless steel, aluminium and magnesium by manual welding and robotic welding (MIG, MAG, TIG). With two Trumpf 3D laser systems (TruLaser Cell 7040, TruDisk 5001, 5,000 W), components up to 4,000 x 1,500 x 750 mm are laser-cut and laser-welded on nine axes. The portfolio is complemented by design engineering including forming simulation (CATIA V5, Siemens NX), in-house tool and fixture making on 3- and 5-axis CNC milling machines, and comprehensive metrology (Zeiss Contura, Zettmess Duplex, Faro 3D Scan). Through a partner network, die casting in aluminium, magnesium and zinc, extrusion profiles, steel precision casting and sand casting are also offered. Main customer industries are the automotive industry with a focus on lightweight construction, as well as the rail sector and the non-automotive sector.
