About StoneFlower3D
StoneFlower3D is a sole proprietorship founded in 2017 by Dr. Anatoly Berezkin, based in Eching near Munich, which develops, manufactures and sells 3D printers and add-on kits for printing clay, porcelain, technical ceramics, concrete (mortar) and biomaterials. The machines use the paste deposition process: viscous pastes are dosed and deposited via screw extruders and ram extruders (0.5 to 5 liters), with nozzle diameters of 0.2 to 7 mm and layer thicknesses of 0.3 to 3 mm. The portfolio includes the Stone Flower 4.0 clay 3D printer (build volume 50 × 50 × 50 cm, up to 80 cm height on request), custom laboratory and small-scale concrete 3D printers, a robot-based 3D printer, print heads made of stainless steel 304, the Ceramic 3D Printing KIT for FDM printers and CNC milling machines, as well as spare parts and custom modifications. Target groups are research, architecture, art, design and craft.

Printing Materials and Processes
Clay
Easily extrudable standard material; grogged fireclay clays are recommended, printed parts can be dried, fired and glazed.
Grogged stoneware clay (grogged stoneware clay)
Grogging with fireclay reduces stickiness, improves dimensional stability during drying and firing, and reduces shrinkage.
Porcelain
Printable without additives; due to high stickiness it requires adapted nozzle and printing parameters.
Technical ceramics
Ceramic pastes suitable for prototyping and small series in research, craft and design.
Concrete/mortar (special 3D printing formulations)
Formulations optimized for 3D printing or additives such as fly ash or bentonite prevent segregation under pressure.
Biomaterials and suspensions
Viscous liquids and biomaterials can be dosed and processed via the extruders and print heads.

Quality
The print heads are made of stainless steel 304 for corrosion resistance during clay and mortar extrusion; the printers use wear-free Igus bearings for humid and dusty environments as well as Duet3D electronics with volumetric flow control. Certification according to ISO standards is not documented in the sources.
