About Strähl Käse AG

Strähl Käse AG is a third-generation Swiss family company headquartered in Siegershausen in the canton of Thurgau. Founded in 1935 by Paul Strähl senior, the company today produces raclette, fondue, semi-hard, processed and soft cheese with around 85 employees at two sites – Siegershausen and Bürglen. The entire value chain, from its own milk collection through pasteurisation, cheese production and ripening to packaging and logistics, is carried out in-house. Tailor-made cheese specialities are developed and produced for trade customers from gastronomy, hotels and retail. The company regularly invests in modern equipment such as an energy-efficient plate pasteuriser, heat recovery and a photovoltaic system that covers up to 50 % of electricity consumption. The products have won multiple international awards, including gold at the World Cheese Awards 2025 and at the World Championship Cheese Contest 2026.
