The company specialises in the production of high-quality, planable furniture systems that are individually planned for apartments, offices, hotels and holiday apartments. Manufacturing takes place in industrial gluing and pressing with subsequent assembly and packaging in the company's own plant; the main material is wood-based materials. The model systems include Baabe, Mira, Vilm, Binz, Largo, Jasmund, Breege, Plano 2 and a home office programme. Since the restructuring in 2012, the company has focused on the Living, Dining and Working segments; a furniture solution for micro-apartments with maximum storage utilisation is currently being developed in addition.

Foundation of the Stralsunder Möbeltischlerei by furniture retailer A. Thierfeld and cabinetmaker Herrmann & Co. (1953 is also mentioned elsewhere).
