About us
Straub Metallhandelsgesellschaft mbH is a family-owned company founded in 1983 and based in Losheim am See, specialising in the purchase and recycling of non-ferrous metals and cable scrap. The company purchases copper, brass and other scrap as well as cables, and offers industrial businesses container provision, collection and contract work such as cable processing and separation. Its core products are copper granulates, including electrolytic copper granulate 1A coarse and fine, tinned copper granulate and granulates with low proportions of brass and aluminium. By pre-sorting the cables before milling, a PVC milled material is also produced which is further processed. Settlement is transparent, based on analysis. Buyers of the granulates include semi-finished products manufacturers, foundries, the automotive industry and copper smelters. Since 2003 the company has been certified as a certified waste management company (Entsorgungsfachbetrieb).
