The Company
STRIP PLATE Lackierplatten Produktions- und Handels GmbH produces spot varnishing plates for partial coating on offset printing presses, especially for packaging, catalogue and colour printing. The double-layer plates made of polyester film are machine-cut to match the die-cutting forme drawing using a cutting plotter (tangential blade) and are compatible with water-based dispersion varnishes, UV varnishes and other printing varnishes. The colour-contrasting finished surface prevents ink build-up, so that wash-up intervals are largely eliminated; coatings with sharp edges and print runs of 500,000 sheets and more can be achieved. The company was founded in 1987 as Nessmann GmbH, acquired by André Rabl in 2015 and relocated to Schrems in Austria; the machine fleet was renewed. The market is split roughly half between the German-speaking region and exports; via sales subsidiaries in Henderson (USA) and Dubai, customers in North and South America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia are served.
