About Stromberg
Stromberg GmbH was founded in 1981 as the design office of the Stromberg family and, over three decades, has developed from apparatus construction into a manufacturer specialised in refractory anchors and precast components. At its site in Ratingen near Düsseldorf, production encompasses refractory anchoring systems made from round and flat steel, HexGrate honeycomb grids (Hexagonal Mesh) to UOP requirements, heat protection systems, refractory precast parts as well as 3D wire-bent parts with diameters from 5 to 16 mm on CNC wire-bending machines. The high level of vertical integration includes design, welding shop, casting department for refractory precast parts, in-house toolmaking and drying furnaces. The materials processed are mainly high-alloy, temperature-resistant stainless steels such as 1.4301, 1.4845 or 1.4835 as well as unalloyed iron wire. Customers come from the petrochemical industry, the refinery sector, the iron and steel industry, the cement industry and the energy sector. By stocking over 200 t of stainless steel, short delivery times can be achieved.
