About Stromtank

Stromtank develops and manufactures grid-independent energy sources in Berlin for high-end audio systems and recording studios. The units completely disconnect the connected audio system from the public power grid via power relays and supply it from their own LFP batteries (lithium iron phosphate) with pure sine-wave alternating current at 230 V. In ON-grid operation, the unit acts as a regenerator with a buffer battery circuit; in OFF-grid operation, it supplies power off-grid for between four and eight hours. The individual battery management actively monitors and balances every cell up to 10 A; for this, the expertise of the Fraunhofer Institute in Nuremberg was drawn upon. The model range comprises S-1000, S-2500 Quantum MK-II, S-4000 Pro-Power MK-II, S-5000 High-Power and S-6000 Alpha (up to 2,500 VA continuous power, 9,000 VA peak, 135 kg) as well as the SEQ-5 Power Strip. Sales and contact are handled from Quitzowstrasse 47 in Berlin.
