About Struktur
Struktur Kunststoff Erzeugungs-Gesellschaft m.b.H., based in Asten, Upper Austria, has been manufacturing plastic products since 1976 and has specialised in bathtub carriers made of polyurethane foam since 1982. The bathtub carriers made of PU rigid foam with a PU soft foam core are foamed directly onto the customer's bathtub or shower tray and serve as a heat- and sound-insulating substructure; since 1997, the carrier has been permanently foamed to the tub. In addition to bathtub and shower tray carriers, the product range includes the floor-level shower Atoll, a patented sealing strip, and individual custom solutions such as milled-out recesses for special shapes. The products are used in private and public residential construction, prefabricated house construction, hotels and sanitary equipment, among others at ELK Fertighaus with around 800 units annually. Production takes place at the company's own plant in Neuhofen an der Krems; around 3540 bathtub carriers are shipped annually, 67 tonnes of PUR foam are processed and 30 km of sealing strip are produced.
