About STS Sensors
STS Sensor Technik Sirnach AG is an internationally active family-owned company founded in 1987, headquartered in Sirnach, Switzerland. What began as a specialist for piezoresistive pressure sensors today encompasses a portfolio of sensors for measuring pressure, level, temperature and flow. In the Innovation Factory in Sirnach, custom sensor solutions are developed, calibrated and tested – for demanding applications in the process industry, mechanical and plant engineering, water and environmental technology, and in oil and gas, mining, and aerospace. The sensors are based on a modular design and can be configured in terms of measuring range, output signal, housing material and connection variant; housing materials include stainless steel (including 316L, AISI 304), titanium, Hastelloy, ceramic, tantalum, PVDF and aluminium. Since 2022, a development and production site in Danbury (USA) has complemented manufacturing; subsidiaries in Germany, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, China and the USA ensure worldwide distribution. With more than 130 employees, STS also provides sample sensors, calibration, maintenance and repair with a two-year warranty.
