STS Steuerungstechnik Schmidt GmbH was founded in 1975 in Tutzing-Traubing. Originally a manufacturer of smaller electrical and electronic control systems, the company has developed into a system supplier for complex machine and plant control systems with a high degree of automation. The service portfolio includes engineering and electrical design using the CAE systems EPLAN Electric P8 and EPLAN 5.70, control cabinet construction including manufacturing, wiring and VDE testing, as well as PLC programming and automation, among others with Siemens S7-1200/1500. In addition, STS carries out electrical installation and on-site commissioning at the customer, retrofit of existing systems and customer-specific special solutions, also in small series and prototype construction. Customers include companies from mechanical and plant engineering, the automotive industry, environmental technology, the pharmaceutical industry and laser technology. A quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 has been in place since 1996.
